Restore-Data

Restore Data works as a computer`s recycle bin. It gathers all the items deleted by the users and categorize them based on their nature.

In order to access this page navigate to Settings --> Restore Data you will get a list of all the restorable entities on the left side, whenever an entity is clicked a list of all the items HID, Name, SKU and Deleted At timing information will be displayed on the screen.

Restorable Entities

The restorable entities are:

• Categories: Only empty categories can be deleted.

• Products: If a product is deleted the category will not be affected.

• Product Sizes: If a size is deleted the Product will not be affected.

• Product Tags: If a product tag is deleted it will be removed from all the assigned products when restored.

• Modifiers: Modifiers associated to products can`t be deleted.

• Modifier Options: If an option is deleted the modifier will not be affected.

• Inventory items: Inventory items that are assigned to products, if deleted and restored the connection to products will be restored as well.

• Inventory items tags: If an inventory item tag is deleted, it will be removed from all the assigned items if restored.

• suppliers.

Restoring Items with Existing SKU

If you try to restore an item that has the same SKU as another undeleted item, the system will show an error message addressing the issue.
