Getting printer IP Address

Once printer is connected to router with ethernet cable, it acquires an IP Address, this IP Address can be known by pressing on the small hole that can be found under the printer, doing so will result in printing a paper that shows printer details.

Adding a printer

Printer can be added from cashier as a new device, its IP Address will be entered here so connection can take a place between cashier and printer.

Types

  • Cashier: If set to cashier, it will print receipts that show total prices and pricing details.

  • Kitchen: If set to kitchen, it will print order product details in terms of modifiers options and notes to be sent to kitchen chefs.

  • Enabled order types: Will print only when selected order types are sent to kitchen.

  • Order Info: Will show order details without any products or payments.

  • Enabled order types: Will print only when selected order types are sent to kitchen.

    Copies

    Number of copies of each type.

    Ping

    Checking for connectivity status.

    Troubleshooting printer issues

  • No paper: If no paper in the printer the LED will be red indicating to that.

  • Paper wrong position: If paper is wrongly positioned, printing won't succeed (printed papers will be empty).

  • No connectivity: Printer is not connected to the network.

  • Same network: Printer is connected to another network
