Combos

This page contains all the information related to Combos and the ways of processing them at Foodics interfaces.

Definition

Combos are special meals that combines a group of products, these products may have different names and prices. But they must be listed in the products tab.

Combos in Dashboard

• To access combos page, Go to the main menu --> Hover over Promotions --> Select Combos from the list.

• A user with full Combos authority is having access to all Combos-related processing functionalities which include the following:

  • Create new combo.

  • View previously created combos.

  • Edit previously created combos.

  • Delete previously created combos.

Following is the explanation for each of the previous functionalities.

Create New Combo

Fields

Basic Data:

• Name (English): The combo name in English (Required).

• Name (Arabic): The combo name in Arabic (Required).

• Description (English): Detailed English description of the combo.

• Description (Arabic): Detailed Arabic description of the combo.

• Category: The parent category that holds the combo (Required).

• Tags: Used as a grouping methodology.

• Timed Events: Linking the combo to one of the current Timed Events.

• SKU: Is the stock keeping unit for the combo.

• Barcode: The ID or code used for the purpose of combo identification.

• Image: Visual representation for the combo in a form of attachment.

Combo Items:

• Name (English): The item name in English (Required).

• Name (Arabic): The item name in Arabic (Required).

• Upgradable: To specify the item's ability for upgrading.

Item Options:

• Name (English): The option name in English (Required).

• Name (Arabic): The option name in Arabic (Required).

Sizes and Prices:

• Name (English): The size name in English (Required).

• Name (Arabic): The size name in Arabic (Required).

• Barcode: The ID or code used for the purpose of combo size identification.

• SKU: Is the stock keeping unit for the combo size.

Notice that, each option must have 1 product size assigned per combo size.

View Combos

Combos page lists all the previously created combos showing their following information:

• Name: Name of the combo.

• SKU: Is the stock keeping unit for the combo size.

• Category: The parent category that holds the combo.

• Size: The number of sizes created for the combo.

• Items: The number of items linked to the combo.

Edit Combos

• To edit combo, Select the combo to be edited --> Click options --> Select edit from the list.

• All Combos information described previously are editable.

Delete Combos

To delete Combo, Select the combo to be deleted --> Click options --> Select delete from the list.

Combos in Menu Display

• Combos are displayed and treated as regular products at Menu Display.

• At Menu Display, combos can be dragged within their category for the purpose of rearrangement.

• To rearrange a combo, Go to the main menu --> Hover over menu --> Select Display from the list --> Drag and drop the targeted combo to the preferred place and then click save.

Activation of Combos

• Combos are treated the same as any other regular product, they can be activated or deactivated, activating a combo makes it visible at certain locations depending on the level of activation chosen. In contrast, deactivating combos makes them invisible.

• To Activate Combos, Go to the main menu --> Hover over menu --> Select Activation from the list --> Check the combo to be activated.

Combos Reporting

Combos sales can be tracked using Foodics reporting system.

Combos Sales Report

To access Combo Sales report, Go to the main menu --> Hover over reports --> Select Sales from the list --> Locate Menu Sales section --> Select Combos Sales.
